Also known as "Lagoinhas" viewpoint, it is located on the northern side of Santa Maria, in the location of Lagoinhas and offers outstanding views to Lagoinhas Islet, Tagarete Bay and Ponta do Norte, where you can see the contrast of the green of the pastures and the blue of the ocean. On clearer days, you might be lucky enough to see São Miguel Island. The basalt cylinder represents the cylinders used in building the roads of Santa Maria.
