This is a high zone with a view over Lajes das Flores. From here, you can observe the village of Lajes, the surrounding green hills, pastures, and in the background, the well-known rock formation Rocha dos Frades. This type of structure is formed, when there is the filling of a fault with magma that solidifies in depth. In the case of the rock formation of Frades, the involving material eroded, leaving it exposed along the green fields.
