Velas viewpoint is located in Ribeira do Almeida and offers a breathtaking view to the village of Velas. From here, it is possible to see the "channel" that sets the islands of São Jorge, Pico and Faial apart and the islands that form the so-called "Triângulo" (triangle). This is also a privileged spot for contemplating the magnificent sunset.
