The viewpoint is located in the parish of Calheta, the largest parish in the Azores, in what concerns the area. It offers an outstanding view to the southern coast of the island and beyond Calheta, leaving the visitor with the wish to visit the "fajãs" that can be seen at a distance. You also have a great view over the village of Calheta, being able to see the port of Calheta and the islands of Pico and Faial.
